New Smile

Last Saturday Aiden got his first tooth.  His little smile is starting to shine; especially since the next day he got his second tooth!  My little guy has his two bottom middle teeth already!  I can't believe it.  He's very shy about it though, every time we try to get a picture he clinches his mouth down so you can't get anything.  Hopefully soon he'll get over it and we can put some photos of his little pearly whites up for everyone to see.

Apparently, Only Girls Are Funny

About a week ago I heard Aiden laugh for the first time, thanks to my friend Albert's girls.  I've tried my hardest since then to hear it again without any luck.  Today, my sister was playing with him and of course, he thinks she's the funniest thing ever.  He giggled all until I got the video camera.  Apparently he's a little camera shy.  :(

I swear, he already knows exactly what I'm saying.  I was talking to him and he was nodding his head yes and no to different things I was saying to him.  Kinda crazy.  I think we had about a 30 minute conversation.  He agrees with my hypothesis on closed loop perpetual generation.

Aiden is smiling a lot today.  It's really awesome to see him smile and be playful.  He's reaching for his toys and has a Hulk like grip.  If he gets much stronger I think he might be able to crush a Hot Wheels car in his bare hands.

4 Weeks Already!

Yesterday Aiden turned 4 weeks old!  Can't believe it's been that long already.

This week Aiden has been wanting to do a lot of tummy time with me.  He really likes to lay on my chest and work on lifting his head and pushing himself with his legs.  I can't believe how strong he is already!  He holds his head very well and loves to look around.

Little guy did NOT want to sleep last night.  Pretty rough when Renee didn't get her nap and I had a 7am meeting.  I rocked him for almost 2 hours with no luck.  He just wanted to stay up.  Renee finally got him down at 5am!  Hopefully tonight will be better!

Aiden has been such an easy baby so far, I couldn't ask for a better baby!  He's isn't fussy, he feeds easy, doesn't mind a diaper changing and goes to sleep easily.  I love him!

So, we had our ultrasound on Friday, September 25th and it's pretty clear....we're having a boy!  Little Aiden Riley will be here soon, but we couldn't wait to go and buy some things for him so this past weekend we went baby shopping and registered.  We're still working on the registry so we will be posting the links in a bit in case you are like us and can't wait!

What's it Gonna Be?

If you haven't already heard or seen it on our appointment calendar, we have our next ultrasound scheduled for September 25th.  We should be finiding out the sex of the baby that day!  I feel like a kid around Christmas time.  I just can't wait!  We have a lot of ideas and plans, but specific to whether it's a boy or girl so we don't want to get started until we know.  The 25th just can't come soon enough!  I want to get going on this baby room!
